A 69-year-old woman has sadly died at Morriston Hospital on Monday, (Oct 29). Mavis Bran, 69, died on Monday at Morriston Hospital in Swansea – six days after sustaining her injuries at the premises in Hermon, about seven miles north of Carmarthen at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, October 23.
A 70-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail whilst the investigation is ongoing .
HM Coroner has been informed.
Anyone who visited the chip shop between 12pm and 3pm on Tuesday, October 23, is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police.
