CARMARTHENSHIRE libraries are preparing to welcome back visitors following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

Llanelli, Carmarthen, Ammanford and community libraries in Burry Port, Llandeilo and Llwynhendy are due to re-open on Monday following months of closure in response to the coronavirus.

When visiting the libraries, people will be expected to follow the new safety guidelines which include controlled entry numbers and timed sessions.

There will also be a one-way system in place, with directional arrows and hand sanitising stations.

Signage will also be displayed around the buildings to remind everyone to adhere to the new guidelines and help keep everyone safe.

Anyone wishing to use reference library will need to book an appointment at both Llanelli and Carmarthen.

The mobile library service will also be re-introduced in a phased re-opening, again with occupancy restrictions. The click and collect services will also be available at route stops.
