EMERGENCY service workers are working under floodlights at the moment at a construction site in Llanelli where it is believed a number of men have been trapped underground.
There is a large contingent of people from the police, ambulance and fire service and it is believed the mines rescue service.
Unconfirmed reports from bystanders suggest that some construction workers may have been trapped when a machine or part of a machine lowering earth snapped.
The incident is believed to have happened over two hours ago at a site near New Dock Street in Llanelli.
Video was being streamed via Facebook live and showed rescue workers at the site with a digger in action. Our reporter Iwan Lewis is there now. We will bring you updates as soon as they come in. As you may appreciate the emergency services are working tirelessly at the moment and information is difficult to come by.
