
FIREFIGHTERS from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service have been dealing with an incident at Sunninghill Terrace this evening, Sunday (Feb 17).
Two fire engines and a patrol car were at the scene outside a property at approximately 5pm.
The doors and windows of the property were wide open and fire crew were inspecting the premises.
The fire service left the scene at approximately 6:15pm.
A spokesperson for MAWWFRS said: “On Sunday, 17/02/2019 at 04:58pm, crews from Llanelli attended a fire at a property in Sunninghill Terrace, Llanelli.
“The fire was confined to the downstairs kitchen area, of the two-storey property, and extinguished by firefighters using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
“The Fire Service left the incident at 05:29pm.”
