MID and West MS Helen Mary Jones, attended the Christmas Market in Kidwelly and listened to shop owners concerns in Llanelli town centre during Small Business Saturday, (Dec 8).
Helen Mary Jones MS, Plaid Cymru Shadow Minister for the Economy and Tackling Poverty said:
“On Small Business Saturday I did some of my Christmas shopping in Kidwelly Christmas Market and Llanelli town centre.
“There were lots of lovely gifts available. And the shopping experience was much more pleasant than being in a busy supermarket, for example.
“Many of our small businesses were there for us during the worst of the Coronavirus times. Others have been hardly able to trade at all. They need our support now. So I urge people to consider their local businesses in the run up to Christmas and beyond.”
