LLANELLI gave St David a good cheer today, Friday (Mar 1).
Cor Curiad sang for visitors to Llanelli Market. Their song sheet was heavily Welsh influenced as one would expect on Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant.
Welsh flags and daffodils were awash in shop windows. Welshcakes and cawl were the order of the day in local cafes.
The Royal Legion Band struck up at around 11am in Stepney Square. Men of Harlech belted out and vibrated down Stepney Street. Children in Welsh costumes played freely on the streets.
It really was a joy to see so many in costume. Other events took place across the town and county in glorious springtime weather.
A number of people sent in their images of their children in Welsh costume. We hope you enjoy the gallery here.
