
DYFED-Powys Police have been in attendance on the A4138 in Llangennech during the early hours of this morning, Tuesday (Feb 5) following reports of loose horses on the road.
A number of horses had been running freely along the road causing chaos. Their presence contributed to an accident.
The road had to be closed whilst police and council workers dealt with the incident. Motorists to and from the M4 were diverted onto Pontarddulais road.
Police took to Twitter to launch an appeal for the owners of the horses to come forward.
UPDATE: Update at 0204 hrs – we have temporarily re-located the horses to a stable, and the A4138 has been reopened. We are still appealing for the owner(s) of the horses to contact us please on 101. log 377 of 04.02.19. Many thanks.
