Red hot heat for runners at Coast Park Run

DAI Lenscap managed to miss the Irish ferry this morning and so he had to hot foot it by bicycle back to Llanelli to cover the latest and 71st Coast Park Run.

In between iced lollies and a few 99’s, our Dai complete with Bermuda Shorts, Hawaian shirt and Panama hat managed to snap some of the people barmy enough to take to the asphalt on one of the hottest April days in decades, today, Saturday (Apr 21).

146 runners suffered the heat and the first home was 1st Liam Edwards – Carmarthen Harriers – Junior (11-14) time 17:29
2nd Helen Sharpe – Bristol AC V34-39 time time 18:35
