Students Brighten Cilgerran Ward

Students from the Pibwrlwyd Campus of Coleg Sir Gar have brightened up the lives of young people on the Cilgerran Ward at Glangwilli Hospital in Carmarthen. The Level 1 Art and Design students spent six weeks designing and painting the sea themed mural on a wall at the treatment room. All the students were presented with a certificate by the Hywel Dda University Health Board. Speaking to Llanelli Online one of the student’s Elkanah Evans said that he had enjoyed the experience and that he had learned a lot in the process. He said:

It was great to be doing something I love knowing that it was going to have such an impact on young people who were visiting the hospital for treatment.
