A 24-year-old man has appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with the theft of alcohol, confectionary and a charity box from Pontyberem Cricket Club.
The court heard that between the 29/11/2020 and 30/11/2020 at Pontyberem having entered as a trespasser at Pontyberem Cricket Club, Joshua Cameron Evans of 39A Brandyway stole a quantity of alcohol, confectionary and a charity box. Contrary to section 9(1)(b) of the Theft Act 1968.
Evans pleaded guilty to the charges.
He was ordered to pay £882 compensation, a victim surcharge of £128 and costs of £85.
He was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months.
