Ymunwch â Phanel Heddlu a Throseddu Dyfed-Powys fel aelod annibynnol : Join the Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Panel as an independent member

MAE Panel Heddlu a Throseddu Dyfed-Powys yn chwilio am ddau aelod i ymuno â’r panel i gefnogi a herio Comisiynydd Heddlu a Throseddu Dyfed Powys.

Mae’r Panel yn cynnwys aelodau a enwebwyd gan Gynghorau Sir Caerfyrddin, Ceredigion, Sir Benfro a Phowys ynghyd ag o leiaf ddau aelod annibynnol.

Mae cyfleoedd bellach wedi codi i ddau aelod annibynnol ymuno â’r Panel i gyflawni rolau statudol allweddol a fydd yn helpu’r Comisiynydd i gyflawni ei rôl yn effeithiol.

Bydd disgwyl i’r Aelodau fynychu a chymryd rhan mewn cyfarfodydd rheolaidd yn ogystal â chymryd rhan yn broses o wneud penderfyniadau, creu adroddiadau a gwneud argymhellion i’r Comisiynydd.

Byddant yn adolygu drafft o Gynllun Heddlu a Throseddu blynyddol y Comisiynydd a’r gyllideb ddrafft flynyddol, yn adolygu ac yn craffu ar ei benderfyniadau a’i weithredoedd, ac, os oes angen, yn adolygu’r bwriad i benodi neu i ddiswyddo’r Prif Gwnstabl ac uwch benodiadau eraill yr heddlu.

Bydd angen i ymgeiswyr ddangos y gallant gymryd ymagwedd gytbwys a gwrthrychol at gefnogi’r Panel a’r Comisiynydd, gwneud penderfyniadau strategol a gwybodus, a dehongli a chwestiynu gwybodaeth ariannol, ystadegol a gwybodaeth sy’n gysylltiedig â pherfformiad.

Bydd angen iddynt hefyd weithredu fel ‘cyfaill beirniadol’, gan herio safbwyntiau neu gynigion ar gyfer newid yn adeiladol.

Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer cyflwyno ceisiadau yw 31 Mai, a bydd penodiadau i’r Panel yn cael eu gwneud tan 31 Hydref, 2024.
