A team of young swimmers have represented West Wales in county championships, which were held in Sheffield between the 6th and 7th of October 2018.
Both West and East Swim Wales teams travelled to Sheffield to race against English and Scottish counties in the Division 1 County Team Championships at Ponge Forge.
Last year Team Swim Wales West were promoted last year and joined Swim Wales East Team this year following their success.
City of Swansea Aquatics swimmers Liz Arnold, Abigail Davies, Jess Dickinson, Sienna Burgess, Chloe Pritchard, Max Burkett, Connor Smart, Rhys Edwards, Aneurin Davies and coach Sam Jones all represented West Wales at the inter counties competition.
Coach Sam Jones said: “The involvement of the Swansea Aquatics swimmers shows the strength the club has both on the regional level and national level.”
All of the Swansea Aquatics swimmers put in strong performances racking up points for Swim Wales West team.
The team finished 19th with 188 points. Yorkshire finished with 497 points and in doing so captured the inter-counties championship.
